What is EMRF FACE face?

EMRF FACE is a revolution in the field of cosmetic facial procedures. Thanks to the use of synchronized RF and high-intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation simultaneously impacts the skin and facial muscles.

Magnetic synchronized thermal energy (RF) reconstructs and smooths the skin by heating the dermis and increasing levels of collagen and elastin fibers. High-tech pulsed technology restores and enhances facial tissue support by selectively contracting the muscles of the cheeks, forehead, and chin, reducing facial wrinkles and naturally firming and tightening the skin.

Key benefits

Combination of synchonized RF and high-intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation of facial skin and muscles

The procedure is completely non-invasive without any downtime

The procedure runs independently once applicators are affixed

EMRF FACE procedure is comfortable and operator-friendly treatment lasting for only 20 minutes

EMRF FACE stimulates muscle contraction through electrical stimulation of motor nerves. The treatment alternates between engaging forehead and cheek muscles. Forehead treatment targets the frontalis muscle, while cheek treatment targets three muscles: zygomaticus major, zygomaticus minor, and risorius muscles.

A single EMRF FACE treatment produces approximately 75,000 electrical pulses that trigger muscle contractions.  This is accomplished over about 20 minutes.

Synchronized RF: EMRF FACE delivers syndronized, monopolar radiofrequency.   The treatment applicators for forehead and each cheek feels warm during a treatment cycle.

Radiofrequency creates bulk heating of tissues.  The extremely efficient delivery of RF through EMRF FACE applicators allows the skin to be warmed to 40-42 degrees Celsius within a few minutes of treatment.  Due to real-time feedback in the treatment applicator,  thermal sensing keep tissue warm, but not hot.  This special temperature is enough to induce new collagen and elastin growth in the skin, but not to effect facial fat.  A cooler, gentle heat is also delivered to the muscle tissue between 39.5 and 40 degrees Celsius, pre-warming muscle to receive more effective contraction.

Treatment for 20 minutes, once a week, for a total of 4 treatments.  Maintenance is required to maintain the results, typically one treatment every 3-6 months.

Most adults that desire a nonsurgical means of facial rejuvenation and lift through skin and muscle toning are good candidates for EMRF FACE .  EMRF FACE is not a substitute for a surgical facelift, but offers more modest skin and tissue lifting as evidenced from clinical trials.

EMRF FACE is recommended for following areas that benefit from either increased muscle tone and/or enhanced tissue/skin heating:

  • Forehead (frontalis muscle, which may improve brow position)
  • Cheeks (zygomaticus major, zygomaticus minor, and risorius muscles, which may lead to jowl improvement, cheek lifting, and jawline refinement)
  • Jaw (strengthens platysma muscle and decreases visible second chin).

EMRF FACE is not painful; it feels like a warm pad with gentle muscle contractions. Forehead muscle contractions are akin to a caterpillar moving on the skin, while cheek muscle stimulation feels like a slight peeling sensation. You might squint, clench, or lightly smile during cheek muscle treatment due to nearby muscle engagement.

In clinical studies, patients gained 30% muscle tone and 19% muscle density after 4 treatments with EMRF FACE.

No, forehead wrinkles typically diminish with EMRF FACE treatment to the frontalis muscle.  The forehead muscle mass increases its resting tone, which supports the forehead tissues more adequately.  RF treatment of the skin with EMRF FACE helps stimulate new collagen and elastin formation, leading to improvements in skin texture.

What does building muscles in my cheek do for facial rejuvenation?
Improving cheek muscle tone strengthens vital facial structures. Aging causes muscles to thin and elongate, losing bulk. Deep-seated facial muscles offer less support, leading to visible signs of aging. Enhancing cheek muscle tone can lift the face, reducing jowls, elevating cheeks, and refining the jawline.

Preparing for EMRF FACE treatment is easy. Just arrive at our clinic with a clean face, free from makeup and skincare products, as they can affect the adhesive properties of the treatment pads on your forehead and cheeks. If needed, we may further cleanse your face with alcohol pads to ensure there are no residual oils or products.

An EMRF FACE treatment session lasts 20 minutes. Clinical studies on EMRF FACE were a total of 4 treatments–once weekly but treatments may be spaced 2-14 days apart.

After EMRF FACE treatment, you might experience some warmth and mild pinkness or redness in the treated area. This can last for a few hours up to a day post-treatment. Sensitivity to the adhesive from the applicator pads might intensify this reaction. Muscular pain is uncommon but possible. If you feel any discomfort during the treatment, there's a Therapy Discomfort Button that you can press to stop the session.

No, the majority of patients immediately resume normal activities following treatment.

Results from EMRF FACE are typically noticed 1-3 months following the final treatment.

Yes, focused electrical stimulation energy from EMRF FACE is considered safe.  As mentioned previously, mild muscle pain is a listed side effect, but uncommon.  Skin may be pink to red, or slightly dry after treatment from RF treatment and the adhesive on the EMRF FACE applicator.

EMRF FACE is a nonsurgical, noninvasive approach to facial muscle toning, skin lifting, and skin improvement.  It combines radiofrequency with electrical stimulation.

Radiofrequency is frequently used for skin tightening.  It works by bulk heating the skin to a temperature that induces new collagen growth.  RF on its own does not affect muscles.

Therefore EMRF FACE can hardly be compared to other device because og exclusive combination of technologies that are applied to the face area.

EMRF FACE has not been studied for use in conjunction with other medical or cosmetic procedures.  However, EMRF FACE can be combined with noninvasive facial procedures from injectable fillers and neuromodulators, to collagen stimulators, lasers, IPL, and energy-based technologies.

EMRF FACE treatments have not been studied in conjunction with Botox use to the face.  Patients that have had Botox to their forehead muscle may feel less stimulation of the muscle during treatment.

EMRF FACE treatment to the forehead has been shown to increase the frontalis muscle density and tone.  Forehead wrinkles in clinical before and after photos are diminished in many patients, and brow position can be improved.  EMRF FACE may help some patients that have not traditionally been good candidates for Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin treatment to their forehead as it improves resting tone of the frontalis.

Muscle mass is not permanent but likely lasts 6 months or longer.  Periodic EMRF FACE treatments maintains the muscle tone achieved from an initial series of EMRF FACE treatment.

A healthy lifestyle including diet and exercise maintenance are encouraged during any aesthetic facial treatment. An increase in weight will allow fat stores to accumulate which may affect facial contours or transition from face to neck. Weight changes may obscure the effects of EMRF FACE treatment, or impact how high intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation energy levels are delivered during treatment.

EMRF FACE is sold as a package of four treatments.  Periodic maintenance with a single treatment every 3-6 months is encouraged.  Price is determined by the areas treated:  full face, forehead only, or cheeks only.

  • Full face (3 zones) - 590 Eur
  • 2 zones - 540 Eur
  • 1 zone - 500 Eur
  • RF under eye patches - 30 Eur
